ALS League: The first song
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a fatal disease of the muscles that sooner or later also paralyses the ability to speak. At this stage, the only solution is to use a computer as a speech synthesiser to enable the patient to continue to communicate with family and friends. To draw attention to this disease during the largest fundraising event in Flanders (Music for Life by Studio Brussel), the agency came up with the idea of ‘the first song sung by a computer’. dEUS lent their hit ‘Nothing Really Ends’ to boost the campaign.
